My Final Image

I was inspired by Lightmark's work when creating this image aswell as looking at Kaleidoscope patterns online. To create this image, I took one single photo, on a 30 second exposure of a red and blue light hanging from my kitchen ceiling. I created a light painting, which I was pleased with, but I wanted to take it further, I wanted to develop my work. I had decided I wanted to create my very own kaleidoscope image. I was very unsure as to how I was supposed to go about doing this, so I did alot of research and I found a very helpful tutorial on Youtube, which showed me how to flip, mirror and create incredible patterns. It was brilliant and I got rather carried away with it at some points! When I look at this image, It makes me so proud knowing I created this and looking back from when I first started in September, It has made me realise just how far I have come and how my Photography has progressed over the year.
