Kaleidoscope Images

Having had a play around in Photoshop with one of my spirograph photographs, I took sections of other images that I took and repeated the process where I mirror them in Photoshop.

In this image I slightly tinted it, as I wanted a slight hint of pink behind the white. I love the shape within this image, the section I choose to mirror was a simple 'X' shape, which has created this eye catching pattern.

I think the colours work really well within this photograph. I boosted the saturation and vibrance, as I wanted the colour to stand out as much as possible.

This is my favourite image as I think it looks most like something you would see when looking into a kaleidoscope. I think the colours work really well together and when looking at the image, it makes me feel joyous.

I like the pattern within this photograph, however I am not so keen on the colours. I think the red makes the image look rather harsh and the cyan makes the image look quite sickly. If I was to recreate this image, I would either tone down saturation and vibrancy or change the colours, possibly to contrasting colours, such as blue and orange.

The original image which I took to create this pattern was slightly blurry. Therefore when mirroring the image the lines looked out of focus. However I like the pattern in this photograph, it reminds me of a spiders web.
