A Day In The Life
Light: Jeremy Jackson
Jeremy Jackson‘s spastic use of color, patterns, and reflections create a body of work unrivaled by most. Beyond the pure aesthetic appeal of Jeremy’s work, there’s a tremendous feeling of fun that oozes out of every piece.
Looking at his photos you can’t help but feel like every one of them was just as enjoyable to create as it is to look at. His beautiful, bright, and bizarre worlds are a welcome addition to the light painting universe. He shoots on 35mm film as well as digital. Jackson explains light painting like this, “The world is your canvas. Anything you can imagine can be painted a million different ways, time and space take on new meaning”

When first looking at Jeremy Jackson's work, it looks like the images have been digitally created, because of the unusual shapes and amazing colours included within his work, it is like something out of a vivid dream. For the majority of Jackson's images he uses LED swords and RGB Strips, which he then shoots in his back garden across a choreographed composition.

My favourite thing about Jeremy Jackson's work has to be the use of colour. Every image is just oosing with so many different colours, that help to pull you in, when looking at the photograph.

When looking at Jeremy Jackson's work, I think people wonder how such outstanding images have been created. All his images are so busy, they have so much going on in them.
