Experimenting With Light- Shoot 2

Today I had the opportunity to have a go at shooting in the Cove Studio. However, I forgot to bring in my LED lights, although I was prepared to make the most of what I had as I did not want to miss out on the opportunity of shooting in the studio. I booked out a camera and a tripod from the ERC and decided to use my Iphone camera as my light source for my shoot. I set up my tripod and set my shutter speed to 30 seconds, which gave enough time to capture the light trail. As you can see from the first two images, my model was struggling to fit the light trail within the frame. I wanted to see how she improved throughout the shoot and show that in my images. If you compare the letters 'A,B' to the letter 'L,M,N,O' you can see my model was creating a much more collected light trail. The letters were much more in the centre of the frame and she had created a thicker letter, by increasing her pace. After taking this photoshoot, I knew I wanted to work with light trails as I thoroughly enjoyed it and liked seeing how my model developed throughout the shoot.
