What Is It Like To Be British?

This morning as a group, we watched a documentary that was filmed in 1999, all about what the public thought about what it was like to be British. Throughout the documentary, the presenter interviewed a range of different people, from different backgrounds and areas. However, everyone that was interviewed said they enjoyed living in England and were proud to be British.

People were asked 'Are You British Or English?' and the majority of people said they were English. One of the camera crew, said that being British was not all that and someone in the public replied with 'Are you Scottish or something?' making out as if it is bad to be Scottish.

Shoot Plan

From watching the documentary on 'What it is like to be British?' we now have to go out on a photoshoot around Plymouth, capturing what i think represents Plymouth. When i think of being British, i think of the cold, wet weather and because Plymouth is right by the water, it is always windy and wet! Therefore i might shoot something to do with the weather. I was thinking of possibly going up on the Hoe, where i can capture the sea in my images and the lighthouse. I had an idea of someone stood next to the lighthouse, with their back to me, under an umbrella.
