Having come across Mihaela Ivanoa's work, i did some research into her, as i wanted to know the story behind her work.

When looking at this image i feel that the girl is trying to hide her eyes, possibly because she feels self conscious. When looking at the image that the model is using to cover her face, i noticed it was a young child. This suggests to me that deep down inside, she still feels young. Or possibly the best times in her life, was when she was a child.

With this image you can tell instantly notice there is a female in the photograph, using a photo of a male to cover herself up. In the image before you could tell that it was just a certain feature of them selves that the person wanted to change but in this you can tell that it is every aspect of them selves that doesn't feel right and that isn't them.

You can tell by the positioning of the cover up and the way it is being held that it is a strong image and that the person truly believe that this is the role they should be and this isn't them true selves.
