The Square

Possible Final Images

F/5.6

When first looking at this image, i am instantly drawn to the red cape, which stands out nicely against the dark background. I feel a connection between my model and the apple, partly the way she is stood, slightly looking up to the prop and i can see the connection within her eyes.

Here, i used the dodge tool to brighten my model's face, as i think the pale skin against her dark hair works really well, creating a strong contrast. They complement and accentuate the qualities of the other colour.

Here I wanted my model to connect with the audience. Therefore I asked her to look at the camera as it catches your eye. I wanted all attention on my model here, so by using a large aperture of F/4.5 it creatres a shallow depth of field, creating a blurred background.

I like the way this photograph has been taken looking down upon the model, who looks so innocent and shy, the way she is almost using her cape as protection.

Demure Red Riding Hood crouched upon a boulder. I like the position she is in, a quite submissive pose. I asked my model to look away from the camera, as i felt it gave a more natural feel and quite authentic.

From looking at this photograph, Red Riding Hood looks so powerful, the way she's holding her cape, allowing the wind to blow right through and standing, looking straight at the camera. However, when looking closely, you can see the cape is slightly blurred and i think i would have preferred the shot, had the cape been in focus, capturing the movement.

F/3.2

Shutter Speed:1/80

ISO:250

This image has captured Red Riding Hood exploring the woods. I love the autumnal colours in the background and the dark green tones within the ruin.

F/4.0

Shutter Speed: 1/125

ISO:400

I like the way I have captured the movement of the cape in this image. It makes my shot more interesting, as my eyes follow the cape. The dark, warm tones in the background set the mood within this photograph, recreating the forest from Little Red Riding Hood.
