When looking at my original images, I felt some looked rather lifeless and dull. Due to the fact I shot on an overcast day that will have played a part in why my images came out quite dark. However, because I shot in raw, it means when editing my photographs, I wont loose any of the quality. When looking at my original images, I thought my model looked incredibly pale and pasty. Therefore, I knew I wanted to add some warmth into my photographs. I used a wide aperture of f5.6, as i wanted to create a shallow depth of field, where my background was blurred. As i wanted all focus to be on my model.

Here, this is edited photograph. In this image, I sharpened areas such as the apple and her facial features, including her lips, eyes and eyebrows. I also boosted the temperature and saturation, as I wanted the red to stand out as much as it could, without it beginning to look false. I found that by darkening the background, by using the burn tool, this also helped to make the red stand out.
