This week we have been looking at concentrating on our ability to locate and review information relating to bias. Bias is ' inclination or prejudice for or against one person or group, especially in a way considered to be unfair.'
Today we have been looking at Daily Newspapers. We worked in small groups and were given a Newspaper to study. We had to analyse the newspaper to identify pieces of bias texts. Here is an example of a biased headline in The Daily Express .Bias is a tendency to favor one person, group, thing or point of view over another, often in an unfair way, which is why this headline below is biased.
