Having now been at college for just over seven weeks, it has given me time to reflect on what i have learnt so far. When looking through my note book, i realise how much i have learnt since starting at Plymouth College Of Art in September, looking at aperture, all the way through to different types of lighting. I feel that my confidence has grown since starting aswell. Coming to the college only knowing one person, i was so nervous about starting the two year course, however i have made such wonderful friends, who i work really well with. This has definitley helped me to improve my team work skills, i now feel confident about putting my ideas across, when working in larger groups. The facilities available to me are amazing, something i never had when studying my GCSE's and they will most certainly help me to improve my photography skills over the next two years. I feel college is such a huge leap from school, the independance and the freedom allows you to feel so much more of an adult. I thoroughly enjoy coming to college, studying something i thrive on, working with students who all feel the same way. I am thoroughly looking forward to seeing the upcoming work which i produce on this course.
